Meet the Prez

This is a big week for Presidential candidate, Congresswoman and gay reversal clinic owner Michele Bachmann.

First she got her first ever Newsweek cover! Yay! Which, without double checking, we’re assuming she must be so, so excited about!

Then, tonight, she’ll participate in her first Fox News 2012 Republican presidential debate! After being credited with winning the last GOP debate (on CNN) in June! Yay!

And finally, this Sunday, she’ll be appearing on NBC’s venerable politics show Meet The Press for the first time since announcing her candidacy! Yay!

Here’s Rep. Bachmann (once again resembling comedienne Sara Benincasa) prepping for the interview. You can do it, Michele- going on Meet the Press is always a win-win for ultra-conservatives who rarely venture outside of Fox News! Just ask Newt Gingrich.

Cory Haim: 1980′s Tween Casanova

In recent years, eternally 15-year old pop star Justin Bieber and Twilight vampire/werewolf Robert Lautnerson have dominated the hearts and bedroom posters of tweenage girls. But who were tweens way back in 1989 pining for? Cory Haim of “the two Corys” fame, of course. Here is a video Haim made upon leaving his first rehab stint to ensure his middle school fan base that he was still ready to be their heartthrob throughout the 1990′s, surely. Assuming Jason Priestly and Luke Perry don’t come along, that is.
