Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell

A little movie called The Hangover Part II opens this weekend starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and a bearded man named Zach Galifianakis. The part human, part gnome Galifianakis was a huge part of the original movie’s success and became a giant star because of it. But his rise to celebrifamousnessdom started long before, as fans of his standup or this popular Funny or Die web series will attest to (“attest” meaning, I think, that they will take a test about it and get an A on it).

In this episode of “Between Two Ferns,” timed to coincide with the release of both The Hangover Part II and Will Ferrell’s Everything Must Go, the hot rookie faces off against the veteran titan in a battle of comedy minds so big it’s like a 1986 Mike Tyson taking on a 1974 Muhammed Ali. Of course, it’s not really a competition, although it would be cool to see them facing off on the underrated and dearly missed Fox show Celebrity Boxing.

The Hangover Part II scored the highest opening day box office for a comedy ever on Thursday night. So if you can’t get tickets to that or Ferrell’s Everything Must Go, you can always watch this on a loop all weekend…
