Adoption is a wonderful thing. It keeps unwanted babies from clogging up our orphanages and fertility challenged couples from staring awkwardly at other people’s real kids. Just ask Michele Bachmann, she’s adopted over twenty kids and is now so happy she can’t even keep the timeline of American history straight.

A while back we posted a web short called “Matumbo Goldberg,” about a suburban yuppie couple who adopted what they thought was an orphan from Africa. Of course, that orphan (Law & Order’s Anthony Anderson) turned out to be not exactly what they expected…but a blessing nonetheless. In this episode, the Goldbergs decide to open their hearth and hearts to a second adoptee (Scientology’s Jenna Elfman).

In this job market, Matumbo and Matumba may have finally stumbled upon a viable third option besides collecting unemployment or going back for that second Master’s degree.
