New York comedienne Liz Miele (Live at Gotham, Late Night with Conan O’Brien) was profiled in The New Yorker at age 18 and had her first spot on Comedy Central at age 22. But instead of burning out early and developing a cat tranquilizer habit financed by regular gigs at a comedy/strip club hybrid on Staten Island, she’s still going strong.

This Thursday, Apirl 21st she headlines a special evening of standup at CB’s Comedy Club in the West Village. The event is being filmed, so if you go, make sure not to do anything on camera that will ruin your chances at running for President. Like accusing Liz of faking her faking her birthplace as part of an elaborate cat tranquilizer smuggling ring.
