Backtrack to the Future

When filming started on Back the the Future in 1985, Michael J. Fox wasn’t cast as the time traveling, own mother making outer Marty McFly, Eric Stoltz was. Seriously, they shot for 5 weeks with the dude who went on to play the drug dealer in Pulp Fiction.

Even before going with Stoltz, the filmmakers brought many other actors to screen test for the starring roles of this 80′s classic: Al Pacino, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Pee Wee Herman, and naturally Alan Alda, along with many others.

Ferris Bueller’s Last Day Off

I know I, for one, haven’t grown up or matured a day since the 1980′s. So it’s good to see that some of my main role models haven’t either. I just hope Teen Wolf is still keeping it real too, and hasn’t sold his rights to MTV’s tween drama department. But surely that could never happen.

Successful Alcoholics with TJ Miller
