Conan’s First Episode! (Kind Of)

Conan doesn’t debut on TBS until Nov. 8th (11ET/10c), but Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter just couldn’t wait to shoot the initial episode. Or, as they call it “Episode Zero.” Guests include Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), band Steel Train and more.

Judging by this mini-episode, it’s gonna be a great show. And the rumor is, Conan plans to steal all his old characters back (Masturbating Bear, The Interrupter) from NBC, who owns the rights.

As Conan himself explained, “If there’s something we did for a long time that we’ve established as ours, we’ll figure out a way to do it. I won’t be denied my Masturbating Bear! What I really wanna do is be sued over the bear and then appear in court with the Masturbating Bear. ‘Your Honor, this bear can’t help himself!’”

Realistically, as great as these promotional videos for Conan have been, a showdown in court between Conan and his abusive ex, NBC, could be the ultimate publicity stunt.
