Losing’s Just Another Word For Everything Left to Gain
If you DVR’d Comedy Central’s new sitcom Big Lake last night, but were going to erase it to clear room for Bachelor Pad, don’t. It’s one of Comedy Central’s best in years. Big Lake is the story of a young man, Chris Gethard, (a longtime resident UCB ninja) who makes a ton in the economy, loses it all, and moves home. In yet another blow that would be embarassing to many, he has to share his space with SNL’s Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz (both hilarious). Plus, It’s co-created, co-produced and co-written by Will Ferrell and collaborator Adam McKay. The whole thing’s looking pretty good. As long as Chris Gethard doesn’t run off to Africa after scoring his first $50 million deal.
